What a great low calorie Valentine's Day cookie gift! Crafted from felt and beads, Candy of Candy's Cottage completed these frosted shortbread cookies for her mother-in-law recently. I would love to made these for my daughter. They could even be made as scented sachets, maybe with a little vanilla.

What a timely idea. I just put up a new post stating how i want to start the kids on sewing using felt. This is the perfect craft!

My son started sewing last year at Christmas time (as in 2007). We have neglected to keep it up --- what a great craft to get us into the swing of things. Of course, his real motivation for getting good at sewing is so that he will be awesome with a jigsaw when he is old enough to get one!! :-)
