About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

This is a great idea, but I still think you would need adequate light to do this. Here it is very dark during the winter months.

By the way, I saw a wooden scale in the new Magic Cabin Catalog.

A south facing window would be best, and I think you need at least five hours of direct sunlight.

Thanks for the link...I'll go check it out. :)

Eva, Thanks so much! I requested the catalog. I see a few other things she may want for Christmas, such as a marble run and a pulley set. The price is very reasonable for the scale. Thanks again. :)

You are very welcome. "Magic Cabin" is one of our favorite catalogs here. We also have a marble run and it has been well loved.
