Now that my daughter is in her 2nd year of college, I can look back and see that maybe I should have homeschooled her. At least once she got out of the Christian elementary school.
It sounds like she did just fine, and is a loving and kind daughter. What more could you ask for?! Homeschooling is just another option if you need it. We've got stinky schools here, and homeschooling was a good fit for us.
I thought this news footage from Louisiana was really interesting in that some communities were refusing to settle for poor school systems and low socio-cultural expectations, and were are taking control of their children's futures.
