Homemade Children's Ice Cream Shop

This blog has a good number of creative and well executed ideas for hands-on preschool learning(Montessori).

For the pictured pom-pom ice cream tub, I'd use red pom-poms for the cherries instead of beads for young children. The pom-poms are homemade and surprisingly easy to make. See post here for tutorial and more ideas.
