About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

DIY Easy Low Pine Storage Shelves

These low shelves function perfectly for my young daughter's arts and crafts supplies. It's just her height, so things are easily accessed and put away.

Four heavy clay flower pots hold up two pine planks(12 inches wide and 6 feet long) purchased at a big box store for about $6.00 each. They also had 10 and 12 feet length boards, and thinner widths. No cutting is needed if you can use the plank sizes they offer. The planks are not attached to the pots, so I can disassemble this when she outgrows the shelves.
