About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Free File for Federal Tax Returns(No Income Limit)

I got our taxes done last night with Free File via the IRS website. There is no income limit to the #3 option - anyone can file. You can e-file the taxes from this IRS site, and forms can be added with the click of a button. They do the math for you, and you can click into the IRS questions area from the form, while you are working, in order to access the tax table and questions about other forms and deductions. This is the second year I've used this file form, but I ran into a few glitches getting it to e-file, so I simply printed it out for mailing. The form will save your information so that you can work on it a little at a time. You can also save your forms to PDF(after clicking "print").
