About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

6 Ways to Gain Contentment

Read here: 6 Ways to Gain Contentment

"Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content." (1 Timothy 6:6-8 ESV)

"During these uncertain times, our hearts seek comfort in the things we most cherish - faith, family and friends. Our concerns are not unknown to God and our needs are not unaccounted for. His Word assures us that the peace that ultimately matters is ours for the asking: 'The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And in the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.'
Philippians 4:5b-7 (NIV)" ~  Saint Cecilia's prayer page.
