Children's clothing was 10% off today at the VFW Thrift Store. I found very new looking(some with tags) long sleeved shirts, skorts, dresses, bathing suits, and night clothes. I paid a little over $35.00 for twenty items(pictured). About half the items will fit my daughter now and/or in the cooler months, the rest are larger sizes stored away for later.
I also stopped by Walmart for their $2.00 children's clothing sale table. They had some cute colorful cotton skorts and matching tops that I got for next summer, a very good and frugal shopping day. My feet are killing me though.

I love finding clothes at thrift stores, especially on half-price day at Salvation Army (Wednesdays). My daughter refers to it as creative recycling and she finds some amazing deals.
You are a very smart Mama! Being organized with storage of children's clothing is a good thing. I remember buying end of season clearance items for my kids. I had a closet I hung them in with the tags still on them. When the next year rolled around I could pull out the new clothes. It was nice to be able to do that.
sounds like you got some wonderful deals!
I love Goodwill. The Children's Place is also a fantastic place for cheap finds. We live in a hot climate in SOuth Texas so I always buy the summer clearance items $2.99 for REALLY well made clothes.
