A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Hot Weather is Here

While I cannot do without my air conditioning,  I can turn down the gas on our hot water heater. Luke warm showers are welcomed in this heat.  The heavy drapes get closed when the sun is at its hottest, and the fans are going. It was 92 degrees today - sun dresses at church today. It takes me about two weeks to acclimate to the warmer weather. I am hoping for more springlike days before we jump into summer.

Two weeks! You are fast. I can not do it at all. I dream with Autumn since the last days of Spring.
