About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Hawaii Toast Recipe

I haven't eaten this in years, not since I was twelve years old, but the feast day of Father Molokai tomorrow reminded me of this traditional recipe for the German version of grilled ham and cheese. It's delicious; the combination of the salty ham, sweet pineapple, and mellow cheese work well together.

I have never thought of doing that! I will have to try that for lunch sometimes.

Thanks!
