About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Kitchen Garden

I am working on this little garden a bit at a time. A few of the baby plants that I grew from seed withered and died while I was sick. Most of them recovered after a good watering. I planted the Roma tomatoes today. Tomorrow, I'll plant the squash.

I hope your tomatoes go better than ours did. We didn't get many at all. I was planning on doing a heap of Tomato pasta sauce but we only got a couple of bottles.

I'm glad your up and feeling better :) I'm sorry some of your plants died, but glad you're keeping at it.

We're making a raised garden this year and I'm so excited I can't sit still!
