A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

The Value of Homemakers

"Women should not be made to apologize for devoting themselves to their families. Our value as persons is too often reduced to how much money we are contributing to the household, or how much of an impact we have made in the world at large.... I love this, thank you for sharing it. I see women or have friends that appear to be Super Women and I often wonder if they're able to do everything and enjoy it or if they're stressed out.
