About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Especially this one: Keeping Things Real in Our Homeschool: Simplicity is Best

Yes, keep it simple, and less is more. You certainly don't need a fancy organizing system to make it work. Streamlined efficiency is the key to success. I brought these skills to homeschooling from my former occupation...something that did not come naturally, by the way! I learned the hard way, sink or swim. I'm not naturally gifted at time management.
