- A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Good for you!! That's what we SHOULD have done. Well, I guess it was kind of a cleaning day- I cleaned the permanent marker off the couch, I cleaned the crayon paper scraps off the floor, I swept the breakfast crumbs from under the table...hey, we had a cleaning day too! :)
Even though you were tired, I bet you have a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. I did minimum maintenance yesterday because we had a wedding (my stepdaughter) that had me out of the house from about noon until 10:30 last night. I'm off work tomorrow, so maybe I can do some more of that dusting I didn't get done yesterday!
Myrnie: LOL, yes, almost everyday is cleaning day with little ones.
Debbie: Congrats to your stepdaughter! The dusting feels the best...really don't like to live in a dusty house.
