About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Can You Hear Them?

(Crickets chirping)

Where is everyone? It's so quiet here. I miss my blog friends. : )

Please feel free to comment, especially if you think I might be able to help you with something regarding frugal living or homeschool.

LOL! Coming out of lurking (via an rss) just to say I know the feeling. My blog is oh, so very quiet! It's gotten so quiet that I rarely post.

Keep up the good work! I for one am reading.

Thanks for your comment and for reading.

I think many people have jumped ship to Facebook, or just stopped blogging, or maybe I've just become really boring. ;)

Alexandra,

You know that I'm not homeschooling little ones any moe, but I still enjoy your blog. There's always something interesting to look at or read when I come here.

I think Facebook has a lot to answer for. Also a lot of people are busy spending crazy sums of money on Christmas - blogs always go quiet this time of year.

Ah, thanks Dorothy. :)

Margaret, I think I must be in another state of mind. We have always kept Christmas spending small. I can't think of anything that I need that badly other than the spirit of the season and the love of friends and family.

Christmas blessings to you both.

I appreciate your blog! I am a homeschooler, frugal gal, and have found a kindred spirit @ Happy Harts at Home.
