In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Yeah!!! It's certainly no fun when the power goes out. Thankfully we have a generator as well. It goes out quite often here for a few hours whenever there is a storm. Although, I still remember the big ice storm that hit Maine back in 1999. We were without power for 18 days then. Not.fun.at.all!
HOORAY!!!
So much time without power! That's not right.
