About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Alexandra,

I thank God every day for the National Health Care Service we enjoy here in the UK.

That doesn't mean I think the US ought to have something identical to it. But it doesn't seem to me that is what Obama is proposing, is he? I actually don't know much about what is proposed for the US.

I do know that some of the dimmer bulbs in the unruly mob have been getting their facts wrong about our beloved NHS though. {g}

Everyone should have access to quality health care. I agree, and as Christians we are obligated to take care the sick and indigent.

Not everyone can know about everything. Most people here in the U.S. are finding it difficult to understand the very complicated 1000 page health care proposal. There also hasn't been enough transparency. I think therein resides the frustration and mistrust. There is a lot of misinformation/disinformation and confusion here.
