
I'm entering my Asian recipe phase. ;) I'm trying this sauce tonight with chicken and stir fry veggies:
Chinese Brown Sauce:
- 3/4 cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp of ginger
- 1/4 garlic
Healthier sugar substitutes: pure maple syrup, orange juice, or even pureed raisins.
Tomorrow I will try Sweet and Sour Fish
