Check out Mrs. Darling's pictures of her Memorial Day "'Staycation", which was not of her choosing. They have made the best of it in a big way.
I guess we are "staycationing" as well, but our vacations don't coincide with national holidays. My husband's crazy schedule won't allow it. We take time for fun as time allows, which meshes perfectly with the flexibility of homeschooling.

Funny! I've never heard the work "staycation" before. I've certainly done it before. Did it this past weekend.
