About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

I wanted to let you know what an impact your blog has had on my life. I started reading your blog some time ago, probably through a link on another. I started looking around, and realized pretty quickly that you are Catholic, like me. However, I had strayed FAR from my faith through some pretty awful circumstances. When I saw your commitment to the faith, and your undying interest in educating others about it, I was touched, and realized that I missed my faith terribly, but more so, missed my close relationship with God. I will not be shy in telling you that I had some very bad things to confess before I could get my life back on track. I finally worked up the nerve, after about 4 or 5 months, and finally today, I went to confession, and was able to tell everything. I am now a new, better Catholic, and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have made an immeasurable difference in my life. You are a shining example of the Word.

Okay, you've made me cry! It's scary, but doesn't it feel wonderful to get things off your chest like that, especially knowing that you are made clean. God's forgiveness is unmeasurable, and he loves you very much. God bless. :)
