Barnes & Noble books are frequently less expensive when ordered online because of their online coupons, but if you use your Discover card, and shop through the Discover shopping portal, it is 10% off! This is a hefty discount, and I've combined it with free shipping.
If you have a Discover card don't forget to check the Discover shopping discounts. They usually offer a better discount than other shopping portals. The selection is more limited, but it's worth a check before going through places like Bigcrumbs.com(my favorite).
