I've made bath salts in the past, so all I had to do was tweak this recipe to include eucalyptus. This is a very simple recipe.
Ingredients:
- Epsom salt
- Sea salt
- Baking soda
- Eucalyptus oil(as much as needed - smell test), or a bit of Vick's chest rub(or generic)
- Oil, any
This mixture gets spread thinly on a cookie sheet and heated on warm in the oven until brittle and fairly dry, about one hour. Break off pieces and crumble into a pretty jar with a lid.
Options:
- Add red food coloring to the oil for pink salts.
- Add a little tea tree oil or rosemary or peppermint oil
- Use Avon's Skin So Soft as your oil
Warning: be careful not to heat any of these oils too much, just warm them. They could splash on you and burn. It also makes the bath tub a wee bit slippery(careful getting in and out of the tub), but rinses well.
