About Me

My Photo
A homeschooling mother of one teenager and a little. In 2001, I resigned from my 13 year position as a case manager to homeschool my oldest who was a preschooler at the time, and later a daughter who came along in 2005. This is by far the hardest job I've ever loved. My husband of nearly 20 years supports us as a fire fighter and EMT.

Church Busy Kits for Young Children

I just ordered a busy kit for my three year old to take to church. She is getting much better now, but still has her days. Luckily she enjoys singing, so mass keeps her attention most of the time.

This was a bit of a splurge considering I could have gotten something together from the Dollar Tree for much less, but it stole my heart. I think this will be a very special something for her.

Here's what I got:

Jesus in the clouds magnet puzzle(she loves puzzles)
Pink Petal Crayon Bag
Pink Magnet Activity Board
Total: $29.25 including shipping

All for this Etsy seller: tikakids

Oh, yes. I remember the days of carting busy activities to church with my sweeties. I had a cloth "Noah's Ark" with all these little stuffed animals to load into it. We also had a fabric bunny book to use. It was a little stuffed bunny with all these activities to do with him inside the "book".

Oh, my, it is a busy experience for the mom when young children are in church. I'm glad your little one likes the singing at least!

Have a great day!
Elizabeth

Oh, that looks lovely!

Alexandra, you have been busy on your blog lately. I'm sorry I haven't been able to visit more often. There's always something interesting here!
